BRIEF
We need to be on market in six weeks. The budget is very small and the location is the Safeway car park in Hampton. Can you help?
WHAT WE DID
We were fortunate that our senior designer grew up in Hampton, so with a personal lecture on the area and a nice family history book of the suburb, our research led us to devise a strategy that targeted locals aged between 25-35. The challenge was to link the building to vibrant Hampton St and the beach and take full advantage of the passing traffic from the supermarket and nearby train station.
RESULT
The laid back nature of the suburb inspired the name, Lido and we gave the building a voice of its own, urging locals to ‘live a little.’ A display suite was set up in an existing building on-site and the vibrant branding brought 100’s of people through the doors each week. Inside the display the Lido’s striking photography, and aerial photograph instead of a location map, truly represented the laid-back nature of this prosperous beachside suburb.
Within just 4 short weeks Knight Frank’s sales team had sold out.
